AAACT is the automotive wholesaler association for North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. If you are a resident of North Carolina, South Carolina, or Tennessee and meet the additional qualifications below, and submit a complete application, you will be considered by the AAACT Education Foundation for this scholarship:
AAACT Scholarship Program
The Automotive Aftermarket Association of the Carolinas and Tennessee Scholarship Program assists students wishing to continue their education beyond the secondary level.
To be eligible for this scholarship, an applicant must be:
- Applicants must be nominated by an AAACT member in good standing;
- A high school graduate or possess a GED certificate;
- AAACT owner-members themselves are not eligible to receive a scholarship, but their children are eligible, as are their employees and their children. Also, members of the immediate family of a Trustee of this Fund are not eligible.
- Be enrolled or planning to enroll as a full-time undergraduate student in a curriculum leading to a degree or certificate in an accredited college, university or technical institute in North Carolina, South Carolina or Tennessee, or an Automotive Service Excellence / National Automotive Technician Education Foundation (ASE/NATEF) accredited automotive technical program;
- Three letters of recommendation are required. Only one may be from a church or minister. It is suggested that one be from the AAACT member sponsoring the applicant.
