Your complete application will be automatically considered by the Global Automotive Symposium Scholarship Committee. In addition, it will also be considered by several other organizations if you meet their scholarship requirements. So, a complete application will give you the opportunity to compete for several different awards. Please see the website for specific requirements for each organization's awards.
Before you begin: A complete application requires:
- This form with all required fields (designated with an *) completed
- An essay – about 250 words or 1 page. You can enter it below, attach a file to this form, or fax or mail it to the Scholarship Committee at the address at the bottom of this form.
- Your high school transcript. You can attach a scanned copy here, or fax or mail it to Scholarship Committee.
- If you're already in a post-secondary school, submit BOTH your high school transcript and your post-secondary school transcript. You can attach the scanned copies here, or fax or mail them to the Scholarship Committee.
- We will accept copies of all school transcripts.

- Students attending post secondary ASE / NATEF certified schools in Minnesota should submit a teacher verification letter to be considered for the Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of Minnesota, AASP-MN, scholarships. AASP-MN will accept that form instead of school transcripts. A link to download the teacher verification form is available at www.automotivescholarships.com/AASP-MN. You can attach a scanned copy of that form here, or fax or mail it to the Scholarship Committee. Minnesota students who also want to be considered for GAAS and other scholarships should also submit their school transcripts.
Please look over the whole application form and collect the information you'll need before you begin.
We hope you will have access to a scanner to scan and attach your school transcript(s), reference letter(s) and any other documents. It will speed the processing of your application. If you do not have access to a scanner, you may fax or mail these documents to the address at the end of the application.
Even with all the information, it may take an hour or more to complete this application. You can start it now, and complete it later. You can enter your data, and click on "submit" to save this form. You will be able to log back in using your e-mail and password to complete or update your application. You may continue to update your application until the deadline or until it is assigned to reviewers.
All materials must be at Scholarship Committee by March 31, 2012 for consideration for any of the 2012 scholarships.
Incomplete applications will NOT be considered for ANY awards.
